A tribute in memory of three friends.
A triptych made from obituary snapshots of three actual persons. Tattooed icons alluding to their respective nationalities now take the form of spiritual emblems. Three smaller figures in flight by land, by air, and by sea respectively are worked into the landscape as the artist remembers three immigrant-friends: an artist- poet, a collector and a dealer he met in Singapore. |
