3 Young Contemporaries (3YC) is an annual exhibition programme by Valentine Willie Fine Art that began in 1997. Presenting a focused platform for young and emerging artists from the Southeast Asian region 3YC supports multidisciplinary practice and diverse voices to represent the most dynamic talent in the region.
To date the programme has featured work by Malaysian artists such as Chuah Chong Yong, Helen Guek, Chang Yoong Chia, Ivan Lam, Nur Hanim Khairuddin, Susyilawati Sulaiman, Fariza Azlina Isahak, Sidney Tan, Gan Siong King, Saiful Razman, Lau Mun Leng, Phuan Thai Meng, Sharon Chin, Rahmat Haron and Vincent Leong, as well as regional participants like Eko Nugroho, Yasmin Sison, Nona Garcia, and Natthawut Sing-Thong, Lena Cobangbang, Angki Purbandono, Ariadhitya Pramuhendra, Patricia Eustaquio, Tawan Wattuya Budi Agung Kuswara and Maria Taniguchi.
